1870 Iron Cross 1st Class (EKI), Prinzen, 800

Rare Prinzen 1870 Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse.  Multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border. Obverse with raised central “W”, Royal Crown on the upper arm and the re-institution date “1870” in raised numbering on the lower arm. Reverse is stamped “800” plus “cresent” and period “silver stamp”. Measuring approxomately 34.1 mm (w) x 34.5 mm (h). Overall condition is very fine.  Item #1381
